Credit repair – importance of good credit in today’s lending market

Credit repair – importance of good credit in today’s lending market

With the lending industry going through a recession this past year, having perfect credit may not guarantee your qualification for financing anymore...bad credit certainly will deny your qualification!

Every financial institution in this country has tightened its qualification rules due to the crisis that exists. What this means for you the borrower is that even with perfect credit there are no more guarantees to qualify for your loan. Not long ago, having a 720 FICO score could qualify for virtually any mortgage loan with no money down.

Today, such ludicrous terms do no longer exist. Banks learned the hard way that being lax only leads to disasters. The economic conjuncture goes up and down; it doesn’t take a scientist to see that yet the money was to good for banks to open their eyes timely. Today in a downturn economy, things have changed and even type A borrowers (perfect credit) suffer from the irresponsible behavior of financial institutions.

So what if you have not-so-perfect credit? Until you do something radical about it and turn it into perfect credit, you are in trouble basically.

Most people cannot afford to put down 30% on a mortgage loan and still pay outrageous interest rates and points. Car loan interest rates of 24% and higher aren’t unseen and with bad credit unfortunately you take it or leave it. What do you do about it? Take action today and repair that bad credit now. Easier said than done? Maybe. Beware of services offering you to repair your credit. Understand how they will help you. Do not go the route of companies simply inundating the Credit Bureaus with paperwork and demand some sort of money back warranty. Only those organizations certain to fix your bad credit will offer you solid warranties.

The moral of the story? Sincerely take the initiative to repair your credit as soon as possible…or be faced with the bad credit sentence and enrich the banks even more.

There is much to be said about credit and credit repair. If you would like to learn more about credit and how to regain your creditworthiness, go to http://www.nca4real.com and discover everything ‘they’ don’t want you to know about credit!
