Online as well as off, there are some men that will make you run and not look back!
Online is just a larger “territory” for them to try and conquer.
First, there are the ones that believe you should be flattered and honored that they took the time to contact you! (I’m sure there is a smiley we can use that will show us bowing in humble gratitude...) Their opening email usually says something like...”...I love your profile. Do you have any more pictures? I want to see more of you...here is my phone number 555-IAM-THE1. I’m waiting for your call.”
If you don’t respond fairly soon, you will receive another email...”...what are you waiting for. I’ve already told you I’m interested...” Trust me...if you see him? Run!
It doesn’t get any better than this! From here, he expects you to be at his beck and call. He will begin to blatantly ask for money or gifts. At this point, he hasn’t even expressed any interest in meeting.
I believe within his mind, if he “brands” you, you are his. Never mind that you haven’t made the choose on your own!
This type of online man, expects you to immediately remove your online profile even though he has no intention of removing his. He wants you offline before you realize you can do better...that he is no bargain!
Trust me when I tell you, this type of attitude is not restricted to certain races. I have run into this “type” of man...from all races, religions, ages, education levels etc.
So don’t let the “white collar”, “suburban type” fool you! Whenever you see “him” online? Run...and keep running! I don’t care what type of “package” he is wrapped in...run, and don’t look back!
