Can you find the one for you online...? Good question...and the answer is: “without a doubt!” But only if you are serious about what type of relationship you are looking for and what type of person you are looking for.
If you don’t know who you are and who you want, you will be wasting your time and efforts. You can’t go onto the online dating sites not knowing what you are looking for.
The biggest mistake ever, is to approach online dating without a plan or objective.
To start, take a piece of paper and make two lists. The “Must Haves” and the “Options”.
The “Must Haves” are requirements that are absolutely necessary. There is nothing anyone can say or do to get you to change your mind. For an example my “Must Haves” are: height must be 6’+, age range has to be -5/+10 (maximum of 5 years younger to 10 years older) occupations must be professional, location to be within 200 miles.
The “Options” are the things you would love to have, but they are negotiable. My “Options” are...build; my preference is average/athletic. It wouldn’t kill me is there were a few extra pounds. Nationality, hair color, eye color, hobbies, are all optional. Religion is “kind of “ optional. (As long as they believe in Jesus, I can work with it!)
If you bounce back and forth...and make daily changes to your lists, you will not find the one for you. Why? Because you haven’t made your mind up! How can you identify something, and you’re not sure what it is!
Consider the “Must Haves” and “Options” as your road map. If you stay on this course and stay true to yourself, you will find the one for you!
Put yourself in position to “choose”...not always waiting to be “chosen”!
