Apology Free Web Design

It's all too often that clients hear, “I'm sorry, that was a mistake, we will fix it right away.” But, it's not very often those words ever make it right. How do you get apology free web design? Look for agencies that have it all: graphic designers, web programmers, and flash designers, working together all in one place.

When it comes to building houses, you don't expect the contractor to be the architect, and you would not ask the architect to lay the bricks, would you? No, you probably would rather hire both to work together, so your house is built with the best knowledge and skills from both worlds. Let's face it, too many web designers offer too many techniques, but are often unable to deliver what they promise.
Either they are proficient, “code handlers” that lack professional graphic design knowledge, or they are top graphic artists with some Dreamweaver knowledge, but no idea about CSS or PHP. The result of both always ends up the same: A big bill, a website that falls short, and a whole lotta sorries.

Mistakes happen and it's good to apologize and fix those mistakes. But, in these circumstances, the problems are hard to fix. How can the plain graphic designer write the code to fix what's wrong? They will try, but without the experience, skills, and knowledge, it can end up making the problem worse. And how does a computer programmer fix the graphics in a design gone wrong, without the proper understanding of “white space” and the “grid?”

Don't wait for the apology. Look for design agencies that offer full spectrum work and have the creative team to back up what they offer. Take a look at their portfolio and view the websites and work they have done in the past. Find out if all the work is done in-house, or is it outsourced to other companies?Find out about the team's education and specialized skills. These questions will help you identify any problems that might occur in the future and will help you to find a team with the experience and knowledge you are looking for.
