Univera Strengthens Management Team Appoints New President and General Manager of Canada Operations

Univera, Inc. today announced Randy Bancino as president of the health and nutritional products company headquartered in Lacey, Washington. In addition, Univera also named Ken Reid as general manager of Canada located in Montreal. Both Bancino and Reid bring extensive direct selling experience to Univera.

"Randy is a tremendous addition to the Univera management team. He is a recognized leader in the direct selling health and wellness industry," said Bill Lee, chairman and CEO of Univera. Randy Bancino, president of Univera

Bancino brings to Univera more than 25 years of experience including most recently serving as president global business operations and expansion at Mannatech, a publicly traded wellness company. During his tenure at Mannatech, Bancino led international sales and recruiting strategy, while nearly doubling the company's international footprint to 21 countries and more than doubling profitability.

Previously, Bancino spent more than 16 years with Amway, serving lastly as vice president, sales, marketing & customer support for Quixtar, the company's eCommerce business unit. At Amway, he was known for building strong relationships with the field force. Bancino has also held impactful leadership positions with Profitable Growth Partners, BDO Seidman, Electronic Business Systems, and was an adjunct professor at Western Michigan University.

Ken Reid, general manager of Univera Canada

Reid brings nearly 30 years of experience to Univera. Most recently, he served as national sales director for Shaklee Canada, a natural-focused company. Previously, Reid spent more than 16 years with Avon in Canada. He served as division sales manager for Avon Canada's Premier Division in Ontario and Sunrise Division serving all of Atlantic Canada and Newfoundland. Reid has also held senior leadership positions with Immunotec Research, Canada Direct, and Excel Telecommunications.
