| Affiliate Elite Reviewed – An Unfair Advantage or Not? |
Brad Callen, the guy behind Keyword Elite and SEO Elite, has just announced the pending launch of his new Affiliate Elite software. It claims to give affiliates an unfair advantage, but I don’t agree.
First off, you should understand what the Affiliate Elite software does. Affiliate Elite claims to enable affiliates and webmasters to spy on their competitors’ web sites, AdWords campaigns, and ultimately their marketing strategies.
How exactly does it do this? Just like Brad Callen’s other software, it comes with a well-organized set of modules or “projects”. Let’s look at each of these in turn.
Project 1. Find Profitable Affiliate Products to Promote
Affiliate Elite accesses databases at both Clickbank and also PayDotCom to help you identify the best-performing affiliate products.
Project 2. Reverse Google Search
Enter the web site you wish to spy on and Affiliate Elite will show you the exact keywords that rank well. And it does this for normal search and for AdWords pay-per-click results.
Project 3. Spy on Your Competitors' AdWords Campaigns
Affiliate Elite will show you the ads that are running for any keyword phrase. You can quickly find all the advertisers, their ads and even their landing pages.
Project 4. Identify Super Affiliates
You already found the best affiliate merchants in Project 1 above. Now you can enter their merchant ID, and Affiliate Elite reveals to you who their affiliates are, the URLs of their landing pages, and even their WHOIS data.
Now that's fairly powerful. Affiliates and webmasters will be able to quickly uncover their competitors’ marketing techniques and secrets.
So why do I disagree that Affiliate Elite gives affiliates an unfair advantage? Simple. Because most of this information is available to everyone, freely, if you search hard enough and long enough.
But to be honest, I have better things to do with my time. It would take weeks to put together all the results that Affiliate Elite comes up with in a few minutes. And it is really valuable information. I think the amount of time and effort I can save by using Affiliate Elite makes it well worth buying.
Advantage? Yes. Unfair? I don’t think so.
