| Benvolio Fascination |
I oft dreamt of a portly gentleman - who fought to
save my life. He laid out one road that’s rife - with
danger - and too narrow - paved entirely without
the spare bones of - other people. I was gonna be
a firefighter - and dive into the ocean - to lay pull
out all divine fools from the notion - but tomorrow
as today - I am far too small to really be that way.
I have my Benvolio - the guy is everywhere, telling
the villagers by getting between two huge groups
of weirdoes to stand down - always to stand down.
Benvolio is adamantly opposed to your old gravity.
He was a minor in Romeo and Juliet - and veritably
told them - he'd rather with swords be run through
than see it done to me and you. I did see a freeway
named after him - once. But when it comes to truth,
I feel I can no longer play the cruel game, forsooth.
For I wanted to be scratched - not over cut or nicked.
