Low Income Single Mothers Are Eligible for Obama's $10,000 Scholarship Educational Plan This Year


Whatever job you may have dreamed of, now may be the time to quit dreaming and start achieving. So may possibilities await those who have used today's dismal job scene as an opportunity to "get ready" for what comes next. Scholarship money is being made available through many new programs recently put in place by the federal government. Train now and be ready when the jobs start to appear.

If you have ever thought about a better paying and more rewarding, interesting job, now is a great time to get the skills, training and certification these jobs will demand. Over the next decade, businesses will be offered $10 Billion in Business Tax Incentives to create new jobs.

The transportation sector alone is expected to add 750,000 jobs in highway construction and another 200,000 jobs in public transit and rail. These jobs will certainly pay well and have good benefits. Will you be ready for them?

Contact your local technical school and ask to speak with a financial aid representative. They are there to assist with your individual circumstances and may know of aid packages you haven't even considered. While the Pell Grant program is the biggest, there are certainly lots of other, lesser- known funds available. While visiting with your representative, be sure to check on tax credits and childcare programs you might qualify for.

The biggest mistake many people make is waiting. It takes some time to get financial aid lined up so think ahead a few months. Starting the aid process now will get you in line. You can use the wait period to make other preparations so you have things in place when classes start.
