President Obama has launched his Scholarship for Mothers program. This program allows American mothers to go to school by providing them $10,000 scholarship grant towards their studies. To be eligible for this grant there are a few simple prerequisites. First, you should be an American citizen. Second, you should be more than 18 years of age at the time when you are enrolling for your college. Third, you should be able to produce documents in favor of your claim that you can't fund your own studies. If it is found that you are well and truly able to pay for your education then the government would not consider you for the grant.
The best part about the program is that the money is easily available. There are no formalities, per se. There is hardly any paper work and the application can even be filed online. All you are required to do is first just start by enrolling for a course of your choice in any academic institution that is participating in the program. Then you have to fill and submit the FASFA form that will serve as your official candidature for the scholarship.
Once you are approved for the grant, you will get money that you can spend on your education and even other aspects of your life that you deem necessary towards your education, such as transport, utilities, bills and maybe daycare in case your kids are very young.
