| Obama Wants Dads Back in School! $10,000 Available in Federal Grants and Scholarships to Help Out |
As a father, and head of the family, you are expected to take a lot of responsibilities. Most of these need money and mostly in abundance at that. The problem that most American fathers have to face is that their jobs don't pay as much as they need. Now, they know that the solution to this is a promotion or a raise or to switch to a new high-paying job. However, that isn't easy when you don't have proper educational qualification on your resume. President Obama understands all this and in trying to help his fellow American fathers he has come up with his new Scholarship for Father Program.
'Scholarship for Fathers' provides monetary aid to anybody who is willing to go back to school to pursue higher education but does not have funds for the task. An eligible grantee (father) can get up to ten thousand dollars every school year and he may do so for 18 semesters. Now, that's enough money for enough time given that even the longest of courses don't last that long.
So what do you need to do to apply and what are the eligibility conditions? Well, for being eligible for this program you need to be an American national and more than 18 years of age. Now that sounds simple, isn't it? The application part is even simpler. All you need is to go to the FASFA website and submit your form for scholarship. This can be done in a few minutes and if successful, you can expect a check in your mail within a week!
