| Federal Government Now Issuing Grants to Pay off Unsecured Personal Debt Immediately! |
The American government takes part in many measures to ensure a marketable economy. These measures are called discretionary assistance (or domestic assistance), commonly referred to as "government grants." The government sets aside billions each year to fund these grant programs with the express purpose of stimulating the economy.
Everyone will participate in a discretionary assistance program at one point or another in their lives. Social Security is probably the most well know domestic program but it does differ from government grants because its funds are automatically distributed to qualifying citizens while the discretionary assistance programs require formal applications.
Discretionary assistance programs can be used to relieve the burden of personal debt (one of the key depressors of an economy). Grant money is distributed to non-profit organizations and government institutions, states, and cities to provide services to help Americans through tough times.
One such service is Credit Consultation. These organizations receive government grants to help prevent bankruptcies by assisting families with budgeting and debt management. The Department of Housing receives grants to help prevent foreclosures and homelessness by providing mortgage and back rent assistance. People laboring under medical bills not covered by insurance can obtain financial help through family services, health departments, and hospitals (all who receive grants) to pay off a good portion of this debt. There are even grant sponsored programs designed to help you pay your energy bills.
Sometimes the government issues grants that can be obtained directly by individuals for a variety of reasons. The most common of these are small business and education grants. A quick search on the government's grant web site or the Catalog for Domestic Assistance will reveal what grant programs are available to you. Check these sites regularly because availability changes often.
