| Search engine MAGIC: pay per clicks |
Pay per click advertising can be a very effect form of advertising, if used correctly.
In pay per click advertising, you pay a search engine like Google to display your ad during one of their searches. You bid on certain keywords, and then your ad gets displayed on the right under “sponsor ads.”
How much you bid and how much people are competing for the keywords will affect how early your ad is placed on the “sponsor ads” list. Every click that you get, you pay for!
Here are some reasons why pay per click advertising is very effect
1. You have an unlimited source of leads. Unlike advertising onto certain ezines or placing solo ads in certain places, you have an unlimited pool of people to bring in. This is by the far the biggest selling point for pay per clicks.
2. You don’t have to be the highest bidder to get good placement. Your placement of your ad during a search can be improved if your ad is getting a lot of clicks! Even if someone else paid more for their ad, if you’re getting the click throughs, you’re getting bumped up!
3. If you’re trying to get your site search engine optimized, but a couple sites are blocking you from taking a top 10 spot, pay per clicks will help you get exposure anyway. Search engine optimizing means basically having your site show up as one of the first results during a keyword search. For instance, if you’re optimized for the keywords “make money online,” your site will come up first on the list.
Some sites seem to have firm holds on certain key words in search engines. A way to get around this is by paying for pay per clicks. Instead of trying to spend months or even years trying to get your site optimized for search engines, you could use pay per clicks to get results immediately.
Here is a list of places you can get pay per click campaigns. The biggest and most effective is obviously Google. The downside to Google, of course, is the high number of competition. You can sometimes also get good deals with other search engines also.
