While billions are set aside every year for government grants, the concept that you can pay off all of your debt with a simple cash allotment is greatly exaggerated. If you end up struggling to make the house payment, then the government will provide mortgage assistance to prevent foreclosures. This very same government is even willing to hand out $7,000 for you to repair your home (Rural Housing Repair Loans and Grants).
Medical bills need not destroy your family. Government grants fund a variety of programs that will pay off all of your health care bills if you are unable to pay them yourself. These grants can be accessed through family services, health departments, and even through hospitals. Of course, the United Way does list all available resources such as these on their web sites.
All debt riddled hopefuls need to do is to check out the government grants web site regularly to see what new opportunities are available. Yes, you can get out of debt with government grants.
