Everyday we are bombarded with the news of the effects of the recession. One needs only to put gas in the tank or go to the grocery store to begin to stress a little. It is truly frightening.
Americans elected President Obama on his promise for change. Although this is a matter rife with controversy, one has to admit that the President has brought about changes. Federal Grant moneys are not new. One must register, research the criteria for each grant and apply for those grants that meet their individual needs. Be patient with the process. The application process can take up to several months in some cases. The good thing though is that once approved grant money belongs to the recipient and need never to be paid back.
The economy is not going to get better overnight. Change will be slow, but there is help available in the meantime.
