| Mothers and Students Can Enjoy a Free Education With Obama's New Improved Scholarship Program! |
Behind the glitz of America the reality is this- young mothers working two jobs in a day to bring home some money for the family. In addition to a mortgage, the mother has other monthly expenses to take care of in addition to taxes. She used to be a good student, but then poverty got the better of her and soon she was working days and nights. All she wants is a good life for her children even if her dreams died a natural death. Today, that same mother has reason to hope and believe in a better destiny for her family. Thanks to a new program that President Obama's government has initiated for such mothers.
Under this program, students including mothers from poor or low income families will be permitted to apply for upto five thousand one hundred dollars through Federal Pell Grants. These government grants are usually given to students for educational purposes and have been increased from a previous amount of four thousand and fifty dollars.
This is a big enough reason to encourage young women especially to come forward and complete their education. In addition, mothers who have the burden of working at more than one job during the day, can sigh with relief knowing that they do not have to attend classes per se. They can instead attend online classes, which suit their schedule. The government hopes that this will in turn raise the qualifications of such students and in turn increase their prospects of better jobs.
