Moms and Dads Get the Benefit of a College Degree with Scholarships From Obama

Each year millions of people realize they make a mistake when they did not finish their college degree. For dads who are providing for a family, that realization hurts because they know that without that diploma, they may not be able to live up to their earning potential. Now, you can rectify that mistake and it doesn't have to cost you a dime. That's right! There are millions of dollars in scholarships that the government is waiting to give to deserving dads who want to complete their higher education.

With the recent passage of the stimulus bill, Congress earmarked more money for the Pell Grant Program. That means that you could receive up to $9,000.00 per year for your college education. With that much money, you could be able to pay your tuition, books and still have money left to help with your daily living expenses.

The beauty of colleges and universities today is that many of the classes that they offer are now online. You could take your classes from your home in the evenings after work. Another advantage of online colleges is that they do not always follow the traditional school year which means that you could graduate in a much quicker time.

Studies show that if two men of equal experience and time on the job were up for a promotion, the man with the higher education is usually the one who gets the job. You don't have to be the guy passed over any longer.

Find an online college and visit with their financial aid office about the new government scholarships. The next time a promotion comes up; you want to be the one whose name is called.
