Your Fitness - 3 Huge Benefits to Maximizing Your Total-Body Strength!

So is increasing your total-body strength beneficial to your fitness program? I know that most people don't associate serious strength training to being fit, but the fact is that it is the only way to be truly fit! Here are 3 huge benefits to you by you taking the time to increase your overall total-body strength.

1. Lean Muscle Mass: The truth is that when you engage in certain movements and exercises that maximize tension you build strength. In case you haven't noticed whenever you engage in maximizing body tension you exert yourself a lot more. This is a sure way to burn a ton of calories during the activity and well after you are done training due to a huge spike in your metabolism. This is a highly effective method to achieve optimal weight-loss and fat-loss.

2. Easier Maintenance: Building total-body strength is a sure way to more easily maintain a truly hard body. The reason is that by engaging in intense movements and lifts such as kettlebells, powerlifting, olympic lifting and plyometrics you pay a price and earn your results. You truly develop hard solid muscle that is REAL and not merely ballooned by some fake performance enhancing substance that you see with the typical "Roid Head" idiot. By missing a meal or a workout here and there you won't lose or diminish the progress that you work so hard to get. This is what being fit truly means.

3. Long-Lasting Function: That's right. I hear these weak excuses a lot from guys these days saying that they are in the gym to only look good. What does that mean? So you don't do deadlifts, squats, and kettlebell swings because these will cause you to not look good? This is the weakness and laziness that has invaded our society over the past 10 years and stands to prove why the U.S. is the fattest country in the nation. If you properly engage in strength training movements to enhance your performance you will have long-lasting functional quality. Instead of sitting in a rocking chair at 60 you can be out on the slopes in Colorado skiing and enjoying your retirement. This is the difference in what you choose to do today. Train hard my friend!
