To be honest, there is so much drivel written about the first steps to getting your ex back and I\'ll try not to add too much to it. How many times have you read about not calling them, being strong, getting out and enjoying yourself and eating well?
OK. All that info is actually true but it doesn\'t help you get your ex back again so ask yourself some basic questions.
How long have you been going out together?
If your answer is too short the the truth is you didn\'t have a relationship to break up. You had a fling, it didn\'t work out and your ex has moved on. Get over it and move on yourself.
How many of their friends do you consider your friends?
Once again if you haven\'t got any friendships of people you met through your ex then you didn\'t have a very real relationship. There\'s a few exceptions like if you met your ex while scuba diving off the coast of Bali and brought them home to meet mother, but if you both live in the same town and you still don\'t consider their friends yours move on.
If you have got this far perhaps you do have an ex relationship that you would like to revive from the dead and having read all the drivel on the internet you\'re still looking for ideas.
How about phoning their parents and explaining while you are sad the relationship has ended you accept your ex\'s decision and respect their choice. Just a pleasant farewell chat with people you should have known if you really had a relationship worth anything to start with.
You can of course repeat this with some of your now mutual friends and don\'t forget to always praise your ex and have respect for their decision to break up and move on.
