| How I Found an Online Business to Start |
My story begins a few years ago. I was watching TV. For some reason I was watching late night infomercials. Somehow, I came across an infomercial about a product that taught how someone could make a nice living from home, by selling products on eBay. It was even endorsed by a celebrity. Now while I never got into selling on eBay, that infomercial got me into the idea of making money at home on the internet.
I still remember some of the internet business details that were described by the infomercial. With eBay, your business was available to millions of people worldwide and your store was always open. You could even make your fulltime income just from selling on eBay. Back then I didn't know anything about the marketing tricks that the infomercial used to attract people like me.
I never did buy that product featured in the infomercial, but I did start looking for information about an online business to start and how to earn money from the internet. I read countless sales letters for books, videos, and DVD's, all of which promised to teach me how I could earn a lot of money online with minimal effort. I never got around to buying any of them, and it's good that I didn't. Also I subscribed to free ezines on internet business to learn more without actually spending anything.
Eventually I became overwhelmed with all the information about finding an online business to start. I could not understand the endless business topics that were being shoved down my throat. Since I had no experience in business and marketing I couldn't make use of this information. So the idea of making money online slowly faded away from my mind, and I just forgot about it.
A while later, someone I knew found success with his business. This was proof right before my eyes that it was possible to make money online. The dream of finding an online business to start became alive again for me. A long time had passed since I tried looking for one, but this time I was relentless. I found all sorts of business opportunities, but after doing my research on them I decided they were worthless. But I didn't let this stop me, so I continued my search for what I was looking for. There are many different ways of earning money online, and I was still looking for what fit me best.
Finally I decided to go with promoting affiliate products. I chose it because it seemed like the most simple way to go. Before long I found an affiliate online business to start. Being smart, I reviewed this opportunity and read what other people said about it. So in the end I spent some start-up capital for this opportunity, and haven't looked back since.
