If you are inclined to disbelieve, understand the following facts. According to WHO, officially there are already 1.2 billion overweight people in the world. Obesity is the main contributing factor to 17 million deaths per year! These deaths are not limited to wealthy developed countries. Developing poorer countries are trying to deal with this problem too In Egypt, Malta, Mexico, Barbados, South Africa, Turkey and the United States, being overweight is a problem for 75% of women in the over 30 age-group.
