My Side of the Story

I had lived a life driven by a burning desire for financial success since I was young, and with hard work and some gifts that I now know came from a Higher Power, I achieved that success. I once had it all... Or thought I did. Rather than enjoy my triumph with humility, I let addictions consume me. I had a covert life in the fast lane of stardom, cocaine and alcohol. When things went south (as they always do in that life), I lied, cheated and stole. Forgetting the principles I had learned as a child. I was in complete self-delusion typical of those who are in the midst of their addiction, and blind to how sick I really was... My will nearly broke me.

But I survived. I finally got some help. Finding a Power greater than myself with the help of others... Saved my life.

As a recovered alcoholic and cocaine addict, I've been given a second chance at life. As a result of this change of heart, and with some help, I have been Blessed with new opportunities to utilize my gifts in a more productive manner. This time, I am determined to serve the needs of others, not just myself...

It starts here, with a telling of my account.
