Estepona Golf on the Costa del Sol Golf, is situated centrally along the Costa del Sol coast, inland from km 150 on the original Costa Del Sol Golf coast road N-340, just West of Estepona town.
It was inaugurated in 1989 and makes the most of the beautiful natural surroundings, at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountains, to offer a round of wide fairways and very long greens.
Estepona Golf Course has the longest hole on the Costa del Sol, Spain the par-5 3rd measuring exactly 568 metres.
It is a very beautiful golf course with an abundance of vegetation and water, with large lakes skirting the greens. Another feature is the abundance of palms and wild olive trees that are spread over the course making it all so picturesque.
The design of Estepona Golf Course follows the natural layout of the terrain, including the hazards, and the wide fairways are the pride of Estepona Golf. It’s a fast round of golf and the greens have been described on numerous occasions as the best on the Costa del Sol Golf
You cannot fail to enjoy your golf in this beautiful setting and the golf course is a challenge but fair to all standards. The fairways can be wide in places and if you drive well you are setting yourself up to hit the greens. The course is always in excellent condition and the large greens are of highest quality.
Estepona Golf Course has a splendid clubhouse with restaurant facilities were you can enjoy a drink and superb meal on the large terrace when you have finished playing and soak up the mountain and Mediterranean.
