La Noria Golf opened in December 2003 on the Costa del Sol Golf and is a delightful little golf course, located within walking distance of the wonderful La Cala de Mijas village situated between Fuengirola and Marbella with easy access to the N-340 motorway.
Designed by Francisco Navarro La Noria Golf Course is challenging for beginners and experienced players alike and is rapidly becoming a favorite on the Costa del Sol, Spain.
Designed to provide something for every one, from beginners to experienced players, La Noria Golf offers some unique and fun holes from cheeky par 3s to a miniature epic par 5, incorporating no fewer than three lakes and a winding river which play a role in each one.
The added aspect of the layout of the course and surrounding scenery makes this course a nice and relaxing day out.
The golf course is totally flat and has a combination of technical holes and others where more distance is required; there is one par 5 of 438 metres and 4 par 4s ranging from 198-310 metres.
The biggest difficulty on this golf course is in the approach to the greens.
Facilities at La Noria Golf Course include a driving range and golf lessons, Pro shop, changing rooms, putting and chipping areas, restaurant, lessons. Rental Clubs, Trolleys.
As the golf course is relatively flat and only nine holes, the course doesn’t have buggies but you can rent a trolley if necessary.
