| Kettlebells - An Ancient Tool, A New Era of Fitness! |
Kettlebells are now taking on a life of their own. I have seen many TV commercials trying to sale cute little colored bells that look more like a pair of earrings than an ancient strongman device responsible for building brute force strength and a level of fitness seen only in the likes of comic books. This ancient tool may be old, but the new era of real fitness is upon us.
Kettlebells that look like a pair of earrings should be outlawed. Ladies you know that if you want to get any real results you have to step up your workouts with intensity! This means that more intensity means more weight. Kettlebells are an ancient form of strength training that gives us a real understanding of the true function and physiology of our bodies. This tool has jumped on the fitness scene like Sanjaya hitting the stage of American Idol. The difference though, is that kettlebells won't fade like Sanjaya.
Kettlebell workouts are unlike anything you will ever experience. I have had years of experience in training in general fitness, powerlifting, and olympic style weightlifting and kettlebells are basically a "hybrid" of all of these forms of strength training. These ancient bells are greatly beneficial in fine-tuning your body to be as hard and fit as you desire. The key is to be smart. Seek competent professionals to give you the sound advice you need to get started, but to get started right with kettlebells.
