How to Get Taller Naturally - Can Simple Exercises Really Increase Your Height?


Ask any shorter-than-average person about the disadvantages of their height, and they’ll probably fire off a whole list of them. They have to laugh good-naturedly at short jokes and pretend that they don’t mind being short. They are usually the last choice for a sports team and end up benching in for most of the season if they get on the team at all. And you know that saying, “Love is blind?” Well, not when it comes to short guys. Many women will not even date a man who is shorter than she is. If you want to know how to get taller naturally, keep reading.

So enough complaining about being short. We all know how bad it can be sometimes. It’s time to stop complaining and start doing something about it. Didn’t know that was possible? I’ll show you how.

Your body is like a car, and the food is like the fuel you put in the tank. You need to put quality calories and nutrients in your body in order to get maximum growth in return. Your body can’t produce growth if it doesn’t have an excellent balance of nutrients to fuel itself on. Focus on getting enough eggs, fish, and dairy. You don’t have to go overboard, but make sure you’re getting the recommended amounts of these food groups.

You also need adequate sleep for growth. It’s well known that if you can’t sleep, you can’t grow. Sleep is part of the fuel essential for your body.

Stretching is another key ingredient for growing taller. Even after you’ve “finished” growing, consistent stretching specifically designed to encourage growth can make you taller. These stretches focus on strengthening the spine and opening up the vertebrae, both of which are essential to growth. A strong spine supports itself better and lays the foundation for good posture and vertical growth.

Yoga postures like the cat and dog stretch are very helpful in growing taller. They increase flexibility in the spine. Get on your hands and knees, tilting your tailbone and pelvis up while you curl your spine downward. Lift your head up and hold this position. As you exhale, slowly move into the reverse position. Tilt your pelvis down, pull your spine up, and pull your chin to your chest.

Other stretching exercises good for growing taller involve reaching as high as you can with your fingertips and holding that position. Chin ups, pull ups, and just hanging from the bar also strengthen your shoulders and back. Hopefully now you know how to get taller naturally.
