The first step for good eye makeup is having a good base. Applying cream concealer using a concealer brush on eye lids and under the eyes followed by applying foundation where needed only. Use a tapping motion with your finger to blend foundation and concealer. If there are no skin blemishes there may be no need for foundation.
When applying powder to area around the eyes, for reducing shine and setting the concealer, use a sponge and not a powder puff. A sponge will allow you a finer application and not allow powder to set in wrinkle lines (which creates a "plastic" artificial look). This is especially true for mature skin.
For keeping your brows looking natural and not "done" try using brow powder to fill in softly areas that are a little scant. If there is no need just give your brows a brush and let them be.
For defining the ideal eye brow shape for you follow your natural arch, the brow should start at the base of the nose and end at the very corner of the eye lid.
A good way to help visualize ideal brow shape in to use a pencil placing it against the nose pointing straight up and across the inner side of your eye. The tip of the pencil at bottom height of brow is the correct starting point for the perfect brow. Moving only the tip of the pencil around the eye will show the perfect arc and reaching the outer corner of the eye is where brow should end.
To avoid dry nails be ware of using hardeners and varnishes which contain formaldehyde (it has a drying effect). Using a waterproof coating will seal in moisture and help repel dirt and water. Another tip is using oily lip balm on your nails as a moisturizer.
White spots on your nails may have been caused by application of excess force during a manicure or other daily activity. These spots will grow along with the nail until reaching the tip and being trimmed off. Another cause for them may be pressure beneath cuticles which directly affects new growth.

Make sure your white nail tip has grown at least 0.25" from pink base of nail before filing. Filing shorter nails will weaken them. Filing nails that have grown too long will cause them to break easily.
It is highly advisable to apply a base coat of clear polish before applying the colored one. The base coat keeps polish from cracking and chipping longer.
It is very important to let coats dry properly before applying the next, this is the only way to be sure the top coat will adhere well enough to the one underneath (note that darker shades take longer to dry).
Applying a new top coat daily will help keep the freshly done nails for much longer. When you decide to redo remove old layers with a nail polish remover that contains oils for hydrating nails and avoid dry brittle nails.
