You cannot know for certain what problems are going to come up at any given moment, but you can be prepared for whatever might occur.
When it comes to your everyday problems things are easier because you have access to all your resources. Trade shows and seminars are where the real problems can occur, because now you are separated from all the things that would normally ensure that you will not have anything to worry about.
Once again, you cannot know what is going to go wrong, but anyone who has been to a trade show before knows what can go wrong, and what has gone wrong before.
The best thing you can do to avoid any hazardous problems is to make sure that the people who you have with you are aware of what issues might crop up, and are able to take control of a situation when it does.
The worst thing that can happen when things go wrong is for someone to start panicking, which only ensures that you will not have any solution for your problem anytime soon.
Keeping your head in a time of crisis is not always easy, but it does get easier if you were planning for those very problems, because now you know the best ways to handle them.

With those two things you considered ahead of time—bringing your designs and knowing where to go—you have averted a much larger problem with ease.
All it takes is a little foresight and a consideration of the potential for problems that might come up in order to head them all of. No matter where you are going be sure you know of all the right businesses and other places to go if you need to use their services.
This should be part of your basic preparation for any trade show. Keep yourself calm when issues, plan ahead so you know where you need to go and what you need to do, and act swiftly to fix your problems as soon as they occur.
