Discover your past, research your Mormon Genealogy!
The Mormon Church (LDS or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) is well known for their collection of genealogy records.

There are many ways you can find information on genealogy records:

1. Search the Mormon Church's huge genealogy record collection using a free genealogy search engine. You will find searches, indexes and a bottomless amount of helpful information on how to find genealogy records. There are many free genealogy sites on the internet you must bookmark and cannot be without.

2. The Latter Day Saints Church offers this free booklet to assist you in searching for your roots.

Tips:
You want to collect and collate as much information as you can. It is most exciting to start with your self and then turn toward the other members of your present generation followed by people of your immediately previous generation like Father and Mother, then go up one level at a time. Keep digging on as much as possible to reach the possible root of your family tree.

What sort of information do you require? The answer is simple. Name, Date and Place of Birth, Other Members in the family, marriage date and the details about the spouse, Date and place of death of an Individual. You must try to find out the ancestral village of the members and their occupation – both in present and the past.

There is much information contained in databases, but finding what you are searching for can be tricky. Be sure to try various spellings of the surname and first name. Even try using first initials if you can't find the person you are searching for by using their full name. Checking "Exact Spelling" will search for the name spelled in ONLY the way you have entered it in the search engine and therefore will put a limit on results. Mormon Genealogy is the place to start.

Morman Genealogy research can be completed through thorough research. It is easy to find a site which links to the majority of the Morman surname data on the web, as well as to individual Morman family trees, Morman origin and Morman meaning if known, and many other Morman genealogy resources.

I have created a website which collects articles, information and resources which you can use to help you in your search. Please visit Mormon Genealogy.
