Every company needs to have a focus. This is the core theme of who you are and what you present to the general public. That isn’t to say you can’t have multiple areas that you excel in, but this will be the central idea and what you use when it comes to your marketing material.
A business card is a physical representation of your business when you aren’t there. Which dentist are you going to favor more: the one with twenty years in the field, or the one offering the lowest price?

But no matter what you pick, make sure that your business card printing reflects it. This could be about having a company slogan that emphasizes your core values, or it could be about having a logo that has become a well known symbol of your industry.
You might want to list on your business card how many years you’ve been in service and helping people. You might want to make note that you’re a local company, something else many people consider a very valuable part of the companies they do business with.
But before you make any decisions you first have to know what your customers are going to appreciate the most. The central idea of your business is going to have the express purpose of appealing to your customers as much as possible. If you don’t know what your customers want, then how are you supposed to appeal to them?
The very first thing a company needs to do is figure out what their selling point really is. Before you spend a single penny on advertising you have to know this, or else you’ll never be able to draw very much support. Why would someone give you business if you can’t think up a good reason for them to?
