More Choices Than You Know


I don’t really blame many people for getting very little variety in their business cards. After all, many people aren’t aware of the options they actually have open to them.

A color business card is your representative when you aren’t around. Three months after you talk to someone, your business card will likely be the only thing for them to use in order to remember who you are, and what they thought about you.

Why wouldn’t you want your business card to be as personal as possible? Don’t you want to hand someone something that truly feels like an extension of yourself, something that had your personality imbued into it?

But when the time comes to get business card printing done, so many people go for the basics rather than the unique because they aren’t aware of what kind of options are there for them to choose from.

Have you seen a business card that opens up to give more information? Have you seen a business card with a map printed on the back showing where the company is? Have you seen cards with quotes on them, cards that double as discount cards, cards made out of something other than paper?

The list could go on and on. Printing technology has come a long way over the years, and this means so many additional options when it comes to business card printing that people just didn’t have before.

People who don’t keep up with the possibilities open to them won’t know what they can now accomplish with their business cards, and instead go for what they’ve always been doing.

The opinion is made that a business card is meant to give people information and that’s it. If you want something colorful or interesting you get a postcard done. You print up some brochures for the eye-catching marketing, not print out some more business cards.

But these days the business card is capable of standing with those other forms of marketing as a strong visual form of marketing. You can have images that are just as interesting and impressive as you might put on a poster, all it takes is some imagination and understanding the possibilities of business card printing.

By failing to understand exactly what business cards can be you’re preventing yourself from getting a very effective marketing tool. Each time you hand someone a card you want their face to light up at the sight of it. Each time they look back on your card months after the fact they should immediately remember who you are and how they met you.

This is what a great business card is capable of. If you want your business card to achieve the same thing, you need to take the time out to understand what the business card is capable of, and do your best to design one that’s a perfect fit for you.
