Remember never to move an injured person at the scene of the accident. Leave this up to the appropriate medical professionals. Do not argue with other involved parties, admit guilt in any form or discuss the event and assess blame on your own. In order to be prepared in the event of an accident, consider keeping emergency cones or flares, a disposable camera and a pen and paper to take notes, all in the trunk of your car.
