There are many different types of online jobs available at freelance sites. Mainly, we can divide jobs at freelance sites in two different categories.
1. Non Technical Jobs
2. Technical Jobs
Getting jobs at freelance site is not a problem but I suggest you first decide what kind of job suits you the best. The above mentioned two categories can be further divided into sub categories.
Non technical jobs mainly consists of data entry jobs, data processing, simple typing jobs, translation jobs, copywriting jobs (writing articles, Press releases, story writing, writing content for websites, writing blog posts, forum posting etc) , proof reading, form filling jobs etc.
Anyone can do Non technical jobs. These jobs require no specific experience. A person who can operate a PC can do all these non technical jobs. Working at freelance site is fun. You are your own boss, there is no office, you make your own decisions and many other benefits. So if you want to earn some good money on the internet while staying at home and you don't have any experience in technical work, then there are hundreds of non technical jobs available at freelance sites.
On the other hand, there are technical jobs at freelance sites. These jobs include Programming (PHP , ASP, .NET etc), C++ coding jobs, MYSQL, SQL and other data base related jobs, website development, search engine optimization, link building jobs, software development jobs, electronics related jobs, circuit designing jobs, hardware related jobs.
The bottom line is that, everyone can find a job that suits him/her abilities. You can make thousands of dollars each month via working at freelance sites. I myself do freelance jobs as part time work and I earn $1500+ each month. At the moment I am planning to quit my day job and start doing freelance work as full time job.
