Is My Marriage Worth Saving - The Answer You Need To Know
Is my marriage worth saving. It is a common question. Too common, really. When people are involved in troubled marriages, they naturally begin to wonder if saving the relationship is worth the effort.

Although the questions are understandable when you think about just how tough times can be, the answer is usually a resounding YES. In most cases, your marriage is worth saving and letting it die at the hands of a divorce court judge is a horrible mistake.

There are exceptions to this rule. In abusive situations, for instance, it is often a very wise idea to move on with your life, free of the relationship. In the great majority of cases, though, marriage is worth saving.

Marriage, your marriage, my marriage, is worth saving because of what underlies it. The love that led you down the aisle in the first place was real. The connection you made with your spouse was genuine, magical and precious. I know that romanticism sometimes seems quaint and out of date, but it has a place here. Love is worth protecting and marriages are worth saving.

Marriages are also worthy of saving because of what they represent. They represent your willingness to make and maintain a commitment. They are symbolic of our desire to have lives filled with a meaning that goes beyond our selfish every day needs. Marriage is representative of our higher aspirations. In that sense, every marriage deserves a chance.

There are practical reasons for stopping divorce, too. Divorces are draining on an emotional and psychological level. Rarely clean and simple, they often produce chaos, uncertainty and ugliness. They are, of course, expensive in monetary terms. They are far more expensive, however, when you consider the toll they exact on the parties involved.

Is my marriage worth saving. Think about that for a moment. Think about what you are really asking and what your marriage really means. Think about what your marriage could be if it was strengthened and improved. Imagine the possibilities, remember its source. The answer to your question will most certainly be a very confident YES.
